National Film Registry: An article in the Dec. 19 Calendar about the latest selections for inclusion in the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress said that “A League of Their Own” was about the All-American Girls Professional Softball League of the 1940s and early 1950s. It was about the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. In addition, the article misspelled the first name of “3:10 to Yuma” director Delmer Daves as Delmar.
