Child welfare: In the May 11 California section, an article about child welfare issues in the campaign for Los Angeles County supervisor identified candidate Juventino “J” Gomez as a former El Monte city councilman and deputy to Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich. Gomez is a former deputy to Antonovich and a current El Monte council member.

Drone program: In the May 11 Section A, an article about a proposal for the CIA to turn over its drone program to the military said that Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence committee, recently inserted language in the classified annex of a spending bill to limit such attempts. Feinstein was not involved in that legislative move, her office said.

Arrowhead Springs: In the May 15 Business section, an article about the Arrowhead Springs hotel included a photograph of actress Elizabeth Taylor and her first husband, identified as Conrad Hilton. Hilton was known more commonly by his nickname, “Nicky.”
