California Chrome: In the June 6 Section A, an article about California Chrome’s Central Valley ties said that the thoroughbred’s sire, Lucky Pulpit, never won a race longer than 5 furlongs. Lucky Pulpit won two races at 51/2 furlongs, his longest winning distance.

GM inquiry: In the June 6 Section A, an article about General Motors’ internal report on a faulty ignition switch linked to fatal accidents included a photo caption that transposed the order of two company executives pictured. GM President Dan Ammann was on the left, Executive Vice President Mark Reuss on the right.

Navy drones: In the June 7 Section A, an article about a U.S. Navy plan for aircraft-carrier-based robotic planes listed South Korea as a potential adversary of the United States. It should have said North Korea.
