Uber ruling: An article in the July 16 Business section about a recommendation to fine Uber $7.3 million and to suspend it in California said the ruling was handed down by Chief Administrative Law Judge Karen V. Clopton of the California Public Utilities Commission. The decision came from Administrative Law Judge Robert Mason.

Hollywood Airbnb: An article in the July 16 California section about concerns raised by activists about Airbnb rentals at a Hollywood apartment building said listings for units there had been removed from the Airbnb website. Some listings at the building remain on the site.

Palestinian population: A July 3 review of the movie “A Borrowed Identity” said Palestinians constitute about 10% of Israel’s population. The figure is closer to 20%, according to the Israeli Bureau of Statistics.

PUC and Uber: An article in the July 17 Business section about ride-hailing firm Uber’s problems with the state Public Utilities Commission referred to a decision by the California Labor Commission. The agency is the California Labor Commissioner’s Office.
