Gallery location: In the July 19 Arts & Books section, an article about the commercialization of museums said that the Giant Robot Store and GR2 Gallery are in Santa Monica. They are in Los Angeles. Further, a letter to the editor in the July 26 Calendar section that addressed the article was edited to repeat the error.

Workplaces in movies: An article in the July 26 Calendar section about film characters’ work lives misspelled the name of “Pony” singer Ginuwine as Gunuwine.

Subcompact SUVs: A review in the July 25 Business section of subcompact SUVs said the Honda CR-V was introduced in 2012. It was introduced in 1997 and refreshed for 2012.

Hollywood shooting: An article in the July 26 California section about an arrest in a Hollywood slaying reported that suspect Ezeoma Obioha had claimed that his security company was endorsed by the LAPD, according to Monique Carrabba, secretary of the Picfair Village Community Assn. After publication, Carrabba clarified that Obioha had claimed on his website that the security company was endorsed by the community association.

Endangered fish: An article in the July 27 California section about efforts to save the endangered Santa Ana sucker misspelled attorney Greg Wilkinson’s name as Wilkenson.
