Afghan TV show: In the Dec. 3 Section A, an article about the “Afghan Star” show misspelled Farid Taki’s last name as Taqid and described Hafizullah Mohammadi as director of programming for Tolo TV. Mohammadi is the head of Kaboora Productions, a company that produces original programming for Tolo TV. Also, the article gave the impression that the show recently had its first female contestant. She was the first female contestant from the city of Jalalabad.

Prisons chief: In the Dec. 4 California section, a headline on an article about the resignation of California prisons chief Jeffrey Beard referred to him as Jeffrey Brown.

YouTube: In the Dec. 4 Business section, an article about YouTube’s efforts to bolster its new subscription service Red identified Jason Ahmad as chief executive of the Venice company Epoxy. He is chief product officer of the firm.
