Debra Wong Yang: In the Dec. 14 Business section, an article about former U.S. Atty. Debra Wong Yang, a potential candidate to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Trump administration, said that Yang was appointed to California’s Central District court in 2002. She was appointed to lead the U.S. attorney’s office for the Central District of California.

Facebook and fake news: In the Dec. 16 Business section, an article about Facebook’s new strategies for thwarting fake news misspelled the last name of USC journalism professor Gabriel Kahn as Khan.

Self-driving cars: In the Dec. 16 Business section, an article about Uber’s self-driving car program identified Steve Beck as co-founder of the management consultancy cg42. Beck is the sole founder.
