Angry TV characters: A July 17 chart that showed angry characters and performers in television history said that David Letterman hosted “Late Show with David Letterman” from 1982 to 2015. He hosted “Late Night with David Letterman” from 1982 to 1993, then started “Late Show” later in 1993.
