Michael D. Antonovich: A headline on an article in the Sept. 2 LATExtra section about conflict of interest allegations against Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich said that Antonovich’s wife was owed more than $200,000 by an affiliate of Anschutz Entertainment Group when he voted on a measure about AEG’s plans for a downtown football stadium. Antonovich introduced a motion to oppose AEG’s effort to secure special state protection limiting environmental lawsuits against the project, but he withdrew the motion without a vote.

Tribune bonuses: An article in the Sept. 1 Business section about Tribune Co.’s plan to offer management bonuses misstated the terms for last year’s bonuses. It said the company’s cash flow of about $635 million matched its maximum goal, resulting in managers receiving $42.9 million in bonus payouts. The company’s maximum incentive goal for cash flow in 2010 was originally $635 million, but was later amended to $685 million. So the $635 million in cash flow resulted in managers receiving approximately $39 million in bonuses. The article also said that court documents indicated the 2011 bonus plan is supported by several senior creditors and the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors. The documents actually said that those creditors and the committee had reviewed the plan and that the company had made changes based on their review. But neither the committee nor the creditors have yet taken a position on the plan.

Libros Schmibros: A headline and a photo caption with Hector Tobar’s column in the Sept. 2 Section A about a Boyle Heights bookstore and lending library adding a temporary Westside location referred to David Kipen as the owner. The bookstore is a nonprofit, and Kipen is one of its founders.
