L.A. Phil schedule: An article in the Feb. 7 Calendar section about the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s 2012-13 season said that conductor Zubin Mehta would commemorate the 50th anniversary of his first program as music director of the Phil by performing that same program with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, joined by Yuja Wang. Mehta and the L.A. Philharmonic will mark the anniversary with four concerts in December. Wang will perform with Mehta and the visiting Israel Philharmonic in October.

Homeless slayings: In the Feb. 3 LATExtra section, an article about how a task force investigating the slayings of four homeless men in Orange County had tied suspect Itzcoatl Ocampo to two more slayings misspelled the last name of one of the homeless victims, John Berry, as Barry. The same error occurred in coverage of the slayings in the Feb. 2 and Jan. 26 editions.

Motorcyclist’s death: A brief news item in the Feb. 5 California section said that a motorcyclist was killed in Cerritos after running into an eastbound car. The car was traveling west.
