“Catch Me If You Can”: In a review of the musical “Catch Me If You Can” in the March 14 Calendar section, actor Merritt David Janes’ name was misstated as Merritt David Jones.

Carpetbags: An article in the March 17 Image section about handbags made with rug textiles identified the designer of the Simone Camille line of bags as Simone Camille. Her name is Simone Harouche.

Edwin Ramsey obituary: An obituary in the March 17 California section on World War II hero Edwin Ramsey misidentified Eugene Orias Sr. as Eugene Orias Jr. The story also said that packs of chocolates and cigarettes were distributed in the Philippines with the words “I will return.” The words, spoken by Gen. Douglas MacArthur when he was forced to abandon the Philippines during the Japanese assault, were “I shall return.”

Robert Relyea obituary: An obituary of film producer Robert Relyea in the March 18 LATExtra section said he died March 12. He died March 5.
