Earthquake: 3.0 quake strikes near Pine Mountain Club
A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Friday morning four miles from Pine Mountain Club, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 12:41 a.m. PDT at a depth of 8.1 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 29 miles from Lamont, 29 miles from Arvin and 32 miles from Rosedale.
In the past 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
