Reader photo: Site of deadly Metro bus accident
After a Metro bus and truck collided, leaving one dead and two injured, people gathered to offer support for the families and friends involved. The collision occurred early Wednesday when a flatbed tow truck ran a red light and hit a Metro bus going through the intersection of Broadway and 5th Street in downtown Los Angeles.
Sterling Davis, who lives downtown, heard helicopters hovering Wednesday morning for a long time. He often documents stories.
“When I found out what had happened, I decided I would swing by there after work and snap some photos of the scene,” Davis said.
