The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said a suspect was shot Friday morning as deputies were investigating a possible stabbing in Chino Hills.
Deputies were dispatched to the 5400 block of Brushwood Court in a residential area around 5:40 a.m. after calls were received reporting a possible stabbing, sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Bachman said.
Bachman confirmed that one suspect was shot.
She said she was unaware of any additional suspects and no deputies were injured. However Bachman could not immediately provide any additional details, including information about possible injuries suffered by the suspect in connection with the shooting.
