Trains on the San Bernardino Metrolink lines were being delayed during the rush-hour commute Thursday after a train struck a pedestrian east of Montclair, the transit agency said.
Train 331 was headed for Los Angeles when it struck a pedestrian who had trespassed onto the track, Metrolink said on its Twitter account.
Passengers were being advised to use their tickets to board the Foothill Transit Silver Streak bus at Montclair to travel to Union Station in downtown L.A.
[Updated 6:26 p.m.: Trains are now running at restricted speeds and the bus bridge has been canceled, Metrolink said.]
