Earthquake: 3.5 quake strikes near Greenville, California
A shallow magnitude 3.5 earthquake was reported Saturday afternoon six miles from Greenville, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 3:27 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 26 miles from Susanville, 37 miles from Magalia, 42 miles from Paradise, and 97 miles from Carson City, Nev.
In the past 10 days, there have been 27 earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
