Temperatures expected to reach the 80s and 90s in L.A. area
High pressure will cause temperatures in inland areas of Los Angeles County to reach the 80s and low 90s beginning Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
The highs in Woodland Hills could hit 90 on Tuesday and 93 on Wednesday, the Weather Service said. The warmest weather is expected Wednesday, and temperatures could be as high as 14 degrees above normal.
A warm and dry mass of air will help lead to northeast winds and low relative humidity in the Santa Clarita Valley and other inland areas.
On Monday, the temperature hit 87 in Woodland Hills, 82 in Pasadena and 80 at Long Beach Airport.
The Weather Service said a cooling trend is expected to take hold over the weekend.
