Letters: Goodbye to H. Norman Schwarzkopf, an American hero

Re “H. Norman Schwarzkopf, 1934-2012,” Obituary, Dec. 28

Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf was truly a hero. He commanded U.S. troops that crushed Iraqi forces during the 1991 Persian Gulf War, and he received the presidential Medal of Freedom from President George H.W. Bush. He is the greatest U.S. general of all time.

So long, “Stormin’ Norman.”
