Same-sex marriage opponent sounds off with Patt Morrison

Wednesday’s Supreme Court rulings on Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act have been hailed as a victory for equal rights. Opponents don’t see it that way, though, and they are blasting the court.

“You are seeing tyranny, not democracy,” said Randy Thomasson, president of the conservative organization Save California.

The National Organization for Marriage is also fighting back, calling the rulings “illegitimate” and “a miscarriage of justice.”

The organization is demanding that “Congress continue to protect the right of states to reject same-sex marriages performed in other states or countries.”

Christopher C. Plante, the organization’s regional director, will join Patt Morrison at 1:30 p.m. to voice his opposition. You can watch the video above.
