The Festival of Arts is presenting “Nature’s Wonder” at its 3rd Floor Gallery at Wells Fargo Bank.

The exhibit was inspired by the recent community-wide festival and conference, Art & Nature, presented by the Laguna Art Museum, according to a news release.

The work of nearly 15 Festival of Arts exhibitors will show now through Jan. 9. A free artist reception will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 12 at the bank.

The exhibit focuses on Festival of Arts artists’ interpretation of nature in media including painting, mixed media, sculpture and photography, according to the release.

“It is a good example of how art and nature intersect,” exhibit curator Pat Sparkuhl said in the release. “Exhibitors represented in this show all use some aspect of nature in their creative process to produce original and thought provoking works of art.”

Participating artists are Scott Albert, Roger Bennett, Sean Hunter Brown, Sherry Ford, Robin Hall, Tom Lamb, Geri Medway, Michael Obermeyer, Casey Parlette, Gerald Schwartz, Tom Swimm, Mike Tauber, Cliff Wassmann and Dennis Zervas.

The bank building is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 260 Ocean Ave. Admission is free. For more information, call (949) 494-1145 or visit LagunaFestivalofArts.org.
