Man’s body found near Bella Terra mall parking structure
Huntington Beach police are investigating a suspicious death after the body of a man was found early Tuesday near the Bella Terra mall parking structure, authorities said.
A Costco employee discovered the body and called police about 3:50 a.m., said Officer Jennifer Marlatt, the Huntington Beach police spokeswoman. The body was in a loading dock by the Coscto gas station.
Coroners officials are at the scene Tuesday morning working to determine a cause of death, according to Marlatt.
There were signs of trauma on the body, Marlatt said, but she declined to describe them. The man has not been identified. Police estimated he was between 20 and 30 years old.
