Dodgers’ annual community caravan starts Monday

For the meet-and-greet types, the Dodgers have announced the schedule for their 10th annual community caravan.

The caravan begins Monday, with team alumni featured the first four days at one stop per day.

On Friday, 15 current players will be joined by Manager Don Mattingly during four stops.

Players scheduled to participate Friday include Clayton Kershaw, Javy Guerra, Matt Guerrier, Adrian Gonzalez, Nick Punto, Brandon League, A.J. Ellis, Andre Ethier, Luis Cruz, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Tim Federowicz, Mark Ellis, Skip Schumaker, Shawn Tolleson and Kenley Jansen.

Friday’s stops include Santee Education Complex, 1921 South Maple Street, Los Angeles, at 9:45 a.m.; Inner-City Arts, 720 Kohler St., Los Angeles, at 11:50 p.m.; Tobinworld, 902 East Broadway, Glendale, at 1:45 p.m.; and the Dodgers Dream Field at the L.A. Boys and Girls Club, 2635 Pasadena Ave., Los Angeles.

Alumni scheduled to participate the first four days vary, but include Tommy Lasorda, Bill Russell, Joe Moeller, Tim Leary, Billy Ashley, Bobby Castillo, Al Ferrara, Wes Parker, Lee Lacy, Dennis Powell, Darrel Thomas, Eric Karros, Fernando Valenzuela, Ron Cey, Jim Gott, Steve Yeager, “Sweet” Lou Johnson and Kenny Landreaux.
