Update: Pittsburgh center Sidney Crosby plays against the Ducks for the first and perhaps only time this season after missing the teams’ Oct. 15 game because of a concussion.

Penguins goalie Matt Murray, who suffered a broken hand in the World Cup of Hockey, is expected to make his season debut, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Defenseman Kris Letang is reportedly close to returning from an upper-body injury. Crosby has eight goals and nine assists in 11 career games against Anaheim.
