Up next for the Ducks: Saturday at Detroit

Share

When: 4 PDT.

Where: Joe Louis Arena.

On the air: TV: FS West. Ticket. Radio: 830.

Records: Ducks 5-5-3, Red Wings 5-5-1.

Update: The mojo, for now, seems to have evaporated in Motown. The Red Wings are trying to avoid a seventh consecutive loss, something that has not happened since the 1990-91 season. This is the final game of the Ducks’ seven-game marathon through the East and Midwest. They’ve had one win on the trip, at Minnesota on Oct. 27. Reigning league MVP Corey Perry had his No. 94 jersey retired on Friday night by his junior team in London of the Ontario Hockey League. Perry, apparently, got emotional when he addressed the fans at the ceremony. Enforcer George Parros took a puck above his eye in practice on Friday and tweeted a picture of the wound, saying: “Guess my left [eye] got jealous of all the attention.”
