Update: The Ducks recalled center Ryan O’Marra from Syracuse of the American Hockey League, where he had played seven games, recording one point. O’Marra, acquired in a Feb. 16 trade with Edmonton that sent defenseman Bryan Rodney to the Oilers, was a first-round draft choice by the New York Islanders in 2005. The Ducks are calling center Nick Bonino day-to-day because of a lower-body injury suffered in Thursday’s loss at St. Louis. The Stars have won four in a row and recorded points in their last nine games, going 8-0-1. The Ducks are 2-4 since the NHL trade deadline Feb. 27.
