Update: The Stars have lost four in a row and are in fourth place in the Western Conference, 1 1/2 games behind the third-place Sparks. Candace Parker keyed an 80-77 overtime Sparks victory in the team’s most recent game against Atlanta. Parker scored a team-high 26 points and hauled in eight rebounds. Her two free throws with 1.8 seconds left capped the win. After a three-game losing streak July 17-24, the Sparks have won four of their last six.
