If Dallas prevails, the teams would be tied at 45 points, with Dallas holding both the head-to-head advantage and one less game played, meaning one extra chance to grab points in the coming weeks. In its past 21 MLS matches, the Galaxy has lost only twice: 3-0 to Portland on Wednesday and 2-1 to Dallas on May 1. To avoid its first losing streak of the season, the Galaxy will need to contain Dallas forward Brek Shea, who is third in the league with nine goals.
