Update: The Sparks ended a three-game losing streak with a 71-66 victory against Tulsa on Tuesday even though they shot only 41% from the field. The Shock is in last place in the Western Conference and has the lowest field-goal percentage in the league (38.8%), whereas the Mercury is third in the West and leads the league in shooting (46.9%). The Mercury is led by seven-time All-Star Diana Taurasi, who is averaging 20.9 points a game. The Sparks, who are in fifth place, are 41/2 games behind the Mercury, which beat Atlanta, 109-95, on Thursday.
