Update: Goaltender Jonathan Quick, who made a career-high 51 saves in a 5-0 victory over the Red Wings at Detroit last Dec. 13, will start for the Kings. Defenseman Willie Mitchell (lower body) practiced with the team Friday but is doubtful for the game. Center Mike Richards, who suffered a head injury Dec. 1, was due to arrive in Detroit on Friday night and will be evaluated Saturday. He’s not likely to play. The Red Wings have won three of their last four games and they are 9-1-0 in their last 10 home games. Seven-time Norris trophy winner Nicklas Lidstrom, 41, is having another standout season with seven goals, 21 points and a plus-13 defensive rating.
