Update: Ducks center Saku Koivu, who has been out since Dec. 8 because of a strained groin, has continued to progress and engaged in a full practice Wednesday. “It’s up to him,” Coach Bruce Boudreau said. “I’d certainly like him to be able to play. We’ll see how he feels and it’ll probably be a better indication tomorrow, to see how he feels after today.” The Ducks sent defenseman Mark Fraser to Syracuse (N.Y.) of the American Hockey League for a conditioning assignment. The Ducks ended a 13-game road losing streak with a victory Monday at San Jose. They have not put back-to-back wins together since recording four straight victories early in the season. Jason Blake has been able to take part in some elements of practice this week for the first time since he had wrist surgery Oct. 17 to repair a torn tendon.
