Up next for the Lakers: Saturday at Dallas
AT DALLAS
Time: 6 PST.
On the air: TV: Channel 9; Radio: 710, 1330.
Where: American Airlines Center.
Records: Lakers 46-20, Mavericks 47-18.
Record vs. Mavericks: 0-1.
Update: The Mavericks’ move-ahead mantra has been impressive since losing Caron Butler, their third-leading scorer, to a possible season-ending knee injury two months ago. Dirk Nowitzki, 32, continues to score (23 points a game) and Tyson Chandler has been a stellar defensive addition, averaging close to a double-double. The Mavericks, however, have been in a mini-slide, losing two of their last four games by a point — at home to Memphis and at New Orleans.
