Up next for the Kings: Thursday vs. Canucks
VS. VANCOUVER
When: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Staples Center
On the air: TV: FS West. Radio: 1150
Records: Kings 7-5-3. Canucks 7-7-1.
Update: The often-mysterious NHL ailment — the lower-body injury — has landed Kings forward Scott Parse on the injured-reserve list. He was injured in the first period of Tuesday’s 4-3 victory over Nashville, playing three shifts for a total of 1 minute 44 seconds. So look for forward Colin Fraser to be officially activated, which would result in his Kings debut. At least he will get some game action a few days before the Nov. 16 NHL hearing on the grievance the Kings filed against the Oilers regarding Fraser’s medical status. The Kings acquired Fraser in the summer in the Ryan Smyth trade. For the Canucks, Alex Burrows (back spasms) has been ruled out and, as expected, goalie Roberto Luongo will start against the Kings.
