Update: Three games are left on the Ducks’ schedule, all on the road. But many of the Ducks’ players will be representing their respective countries in the world championships, which will be played next month in Finland and Sweden. Two major assets for Team Canada would be Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf and linemate Corey Perry. Getzlaf said after Sunday’s home finale that he was planning to play in the event, along with Perry. One area of concern for the players is the big-time lag between the end of the NHL regular season and the start of the worlds. Vancouver has won six straight games and Andrew Ebbett returned to the lineup Sunday — scoring the game-winner in overtime — for his first action since breaking his collarbone. He missed 35 games because of the injury. Ducks defenseman Toni Lydman, who missed Sunday’s game because of an upper-body injury, remains day to day but is on this final trip.
