&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Now that is the way to start your career.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Freshman quarterback Brett Hundley began his collegiate career with a 72-yard touchdown run on his very first snap, and the &amp;lt;runtime:topic id=”ORSPT000000294”&amp;gt;UCLA Bruins&amp;lt;/runtime:topic&amp;gt; scored more than they had in any game last season in Thursday’s 49-24 season-opening victory over Rice.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;First-year offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone wanted Johnathan Franklin to run the ball to start the game.
