Up next for the Ducks: Friday at Detroit

Share

When: 4:30 PST.

Where: Joe Louis Arena.

On the air: TV: Prime Ticket; Radio: 830.

Records: Ducks 21-24-8, Red Wings 36-17-2.

Record vs. Red Wings: 0-2.

Update: Talk about running the travel gantlet. This is the first game of an eight-game trip, running 15 days, and plenty is on the line in terms of playoff hopes and personnel decisions. However, the trip opens in a place where the Ducks have had limited success, not having won in Detroit since Feb. 10, 2008. They have lost seven straight games at Detroit and won just once in the last 17 games there. Detroit has been a force at home since early November, winning 18 straight at Joe Louis Arena. The last team to win in Detroit was Calgary, on Nov. 3. The Red Wings said Dan Cleary (lower-body injury) won’t play against the Ducks or the Flyers on Sunday night.
