USC football: Television schedule begins to take shape

The television schedule for USC’s 2012 football season is beginning to take shape, with ESPN and the Pac-12 Networks on Thursday announcing broadcast arrangements for the Trojans’ games against Stanford, California, Utah and Notre Dame.

USC’s Sept. 1 season opener against Hawaii in the Coliseum will start at 4:30 p.m. and will be televised by Fox.

The Trojans’ Sept. 8 game against Syracuse at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will be televised by ABC.

USC’s Pac-12 opener at Stanford on Sept. 15 will kick off at 4:30 p.m. and will be televised by Fox.

USC’s Sept. 22 home game against Cal will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks. The time is to be determined.

The Trojans’ Oct. 4 game at Utah, a Thursday night, will kick off at 6 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN.

USC’s regular-season finale against Notre Dame at the Coliseum will be televised by ABC or ESPN. Kickoff time is to be determined.

Broadcast network and kickoff times are still to be determined for USC’s games against Washington, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, Arizona State and UCLA.
