Update: The Clippers lost their first two games to the Timberwolves at Staples Center, one on a last-second shot by Kevin Love and the other because they couldn’t stop reserve forwards Michael Beasley and Derrick Williams, both of whom scored 27 points. Love is averaging 25 points and 14.0 rebounds. Only 10 players in NBA history have averaged 25-plus points and 14-plus rebounds in a season.
