Alabama and Oregon remained No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in the latest college football polls, although it’s possible Oregon could drop to fourth when the BCS standings are released later Sunday.

Oregon was No. 3 in last week’s first BCS standings behind Alabama and Florida.

This week’s Associated Press Top Five has Alabama and Oregon followed by Florida, Kansas State and Notre Dame. The next five are Louisiana State, Ohio State, Oregon State, South Carolina and Oklahoma. USC is No. 11.

The USA Today coaches’ poll has the same top five, followed by Louisiana State, Oklahoma, USC, Oregon State and Florida State.

Ohio State is not eligible for the coaches’ poll because it is on NCAA probation.
