UCLA baseball: Pitcher David Berg named first-team All-American
UCLA relief pitcher David Berg was named first-team All-American by Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball on Thursday.
Berg’s 0.70 earned-run average was the lowest in the nation. He has a 6-0 record with a UCLA-record 18 saves.
Berg, a sophomore, is a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award, given to the nation’s best college baseball player.
