UCLA will begin a fundraising campaign to raise money to build a football training facility at Spaulding Field.

The facility is estimated to cost $50 million and will be built with private donations.

USC, Oregon and Washington are among the Pac-12 programs that have built new training facilities, which can boost recruiting efforts. Spaulding Field has received upgrades since Coach Jim Mora was hired. But he has sought a football house that would include a weight room, team rooms and coaches’ offices.

“To be able to add a football facility that will help us with player development and growth is simply fantastic,”’ Mora said in a statement.
