Clippers’ Jamal Crawford prepared to start again for J.J. Redick
If Jamal Crawford has to start again at shooting guard in place of the injured J.J. Redick (sore right hip), the Clippers can feel confident that they are in good hands.
Redick missed Wednesday night’s game against the Miami Heat and he’s listed as day-to-day.
The Clippers play the Toronto Raptors on Friday night at Staples Center.
Crawford started against the Heat and had 31 points on nine-for-21 shooting, including five-for-11 on three-pointers.
Because of the team’s lack of depth in the backcourt, Crawford was forced to play 46 minutes 38 seconds against the Heat. He also played some point guard in the game.
Crawford is averaging 23.8 points in his last 12 games. He has scored at least 19 points in 11 of those games.
