The Lakers will host the Utah Jazz on Oct. 4 and 6 at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu to open their 2015-16 preseason schedule.

The team will also play Israeli team Maccabi Haifa on Oct. 11 in one of two games at Staples Center. The second will be against the Portland Trail Blazers on Oct. 19.

In total, the Lakers will play eight exhibition games in October, including the eighth at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario against the Toronto Raptors and the 13th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas vs. the Sacramento Kings.

The Lakers meet the Golden State Warriors twice, on Oct. 17 in San Diego at the Valley View Casino Arena and on Oct. 22 in Anaheim at the Honda Center.

Tickets for the games outside of Staples Center will be available for purchase on Thursday. The Lakers have yet to announce when the pair at home will go on sale.

Perhaps the greater question is who will be on the Lakers’ roster in October? The only players under guaranteed contract are Kobe Bryant, Nick Young, Julius Randle and Ryan Kelly.
