COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — Alan Gordon scored in the 69th minute, Robbie Keane added a goal in stoppage time and the Galaxy ended a 15-match winless streak on the road with a 3-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night.
Sebastian Lletget tied it in the 56th minute to start the Galaxy (10-7-7) on its way to its first road win since a 4-3 decision at Colorado last Aug. 20.
Marcelo Sarvas scored his first goal for the Rapids (5-7-9) in the 12th minute against his former team.
He beat Galaxy goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts to the ball, tapped it to his left and knocked it into a wide-open goal.
Ricketts, acquired in a trade with Orlando City on Thursday, previously played in L.A. for three seasons.
