The last few days, Bubba Watson has gone viral with video of a nearly impossible trick shot on a miniature golf course in Florida.

For those who missed it, the two-time Masters winner hits the ball along a concrete path toward a hole behind him. As the putt bounces back onto the carpet, curving some 40 feet, he races over to pull out the flag just in time.

Watson now insists that his putt-putt trickery -- just like that hook shot out of the trees at Augusta in 2012 -- involved no special effects.

“Obviously it’s legit,” he told reporters at the Memorial Tournament, which begins on Thursday. “You saw it go in.”

The whole thing started when Watson won a bet with some “cart boys” from his home course at Isleworth in Florida. They took him out to Chipotle and, afterward, visited a miniature golf course at Disney World.

The group played several holes backward and captured Watson’s shot on video. Watson said he won yet another bet in the process, earning “a water.”

“I dominated them all day,” he said.
