Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin among NBA’s most improved

Clippers center DeAndre Jordan came in fifth for the NBA’s most improved player award announced Wednesday by the league, and Blake Griffin was seventh.
Jordan, who had a career-best season that included averages of a career-high 10.4 points and an NBA-best 13.6 rebounds per game, had four first-place votes and 66 total.
Jordan came in third in voting for the NBA’s defensive player of the year award.
Griffin, who averaged a career-high 24.1 points per game, had six first-place votes and 39
total.
Suns point guard Goran Dragic won the most improved player award.
