Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill has been suspended for two games for an unspecified violation of team rules, according to multiple reports.

Freshman Kyle Allen got the start for the Aggies on Saturday as Texas A&M sought to right its season against Louisiana Monroe following three consecutive losses, including last week’s 59-0 blowout by No. 3 Alabama.

Hill garnered national acclaim after breaking Johnny Manziel’s single-game passing record with 511 yards in his first game of the season, a 52-28 rout of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C.

Texas A&M had been ranked as high as No. 6 after opening the season 5-0 with Hill passing for 17 touchdowns and only two interceptions.

However, in the last three weeks, Hill has thrown six touchdown passes and had the same number intercepted.

Allen is also expected to start for the Aggies next week against No. 3 Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
