Betty Boyd, wife of former USC basketball coach Bob Boyd, dies
Betty Boyd, the wife of former USC men’s basketball coach Bob Boyd, died Monday in Palm Desert. She was 84.
She is survived by Bob and sons Jim, Bill and John, as well as 10 grandchildren.
Services are pending.
The Boyds were married when Bob was a player on the Trojans basketball team, for which he lettered from 1950 to ’52.
