USC football: Marqise Lee limited in return to practice
USC All-American receiver Marqise Lee, who suffered a bone bruise in his right shoulder area last week, returned to practice Wednesday in a limited role.
Lee did not wear shoulder pads but participated in several drills during the Trojans’ morning workout. He wore a yellow jersey to caution defensive players against making contact.
Receiver Darreus Rogers also was among the players who returned to practice.
On Tuesday, Coach Lane Kiffin had said that 19 players were unavailable because of injuries.
USC was scheduled to practice again Wednesday night.
The Trojans are set to play their opener Aug. 29 at Hawaii.
