USC has 14 committed players and six remaining scholarships in its 2016 recruiting class.

Five players on the Trojans roster were blueshirt recruits and count toward the allotted 25 scholarships in 2016: Receiver Deontay Burnett, offensive lineman Clayton Johnston, punter Chris Tilbey and tight ends Taylor McNamara and Daniel Imatorbhebhe.

Offensive lineman Nathan Smith from Murrieta Mesa High, defensive back C.J. Pollard from Gardena Serra and receivers Michael Pittman from Oaks Christian and Josh Imatorbhebhe from North Gwinnett in Suwanee, Ga., have signed financial-aid agreements and are on track to enroll in January.

Financial-aid agreements are binding for the school but not the player.

Smith, Pollard and Pittman made official visits to USC last weekend.

Imatorbhebhe made an official visit in November, when USC hosted UCLA.

It has been widely speculated that Jones, who has made official visits to Oklahoma, Michigan and Tennessee, might not sign with USC in February.
