USC linebacker Hayes Pullard was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the NFL draft.
The Browns selected former Trojans tight end Randall Telfer in the sixth round.
Pullard, a four-year starter, led the Trojans in tackles three times.
The 6-foot-1, 235-pound Pullard came to USC from Los Angeles Crenshaw High. He redshirted after having knee surgery as a freshman and then became one of the Trojans’ most productive players.
Pullard recorded a team-best 81 tackles in 2011, 107 tackles in 2012, a team-best 94 in 2013 and a team-best 95 last season, his second as a team captain.
Pullard made 25-1/2 tackles for losses and intercepted three passes during his career.
Pullard is the second USC linebacker in as many years to be drafted. The New York Giants selected Devon Kennard in the fifth round in 2014.
